Turn Your Interest into Money
"Do what you love and money will follow."
Tell that to the starving artist. And yet, there are hundreds of other artists who are not starving.
People all over are turning a profit by simply selling their passion, which can come in the form of thoughts on paper, digital information, or recorded music and video. Kids today are smarter than we realize when they say, "When I grow up, I want to be rich." What can be easily interpreted as a lazy - I want to make money without working hard - can be really seen as - I want to make money out of nothing and make that money work for me. Madonna used her voice (which cost nothing) to make millions. Michael Jordan used his skills (which cost his time) to market himself into millions through shoes, clothes, and advertising. And with the burgeoning commerce of the world wide web, making a profit from your passions is practically limitless.
But how do you do it?
The first thing is to realize is that your passion can be turned into an asset and by asset, I mean something you have that makes you money. Because you’re already interested in it what you mean to sell, you don’t have to start from zero knowledge.
The next thing to do is to find an idea and to find a niche market. People often get stumped because they feel they have nothing new to contribute. But you don’t need to reinvent a market, you just need to tap into an existing one. And there’s no easier one than the one you know already. Chances are you’ve bought tons of products related to your passion (music, art, dogs, skateboarding, fishing, ant-farming, whatever) already. You know which of these products helped you and which ones didn’t. If people are selling products or information to a specific market, then, with a good product, you have a good chance of doing likewise.
If you’re computer savvy, or even if you just check your email every day and once in a while Google an interest of yours, you’ve already come across people who enjoy the same things you do. You’ve chatted with them in forums, and you know what their needs and desires are or even better the things that peeve them. If you can come up with solutions or make a better product, you can get a piece of that market and thoroughly enjoy what you’re doing.

Cat Lover's Gift Basket Speaking as a quintessential cat lover, receiving a "Cat Lover's Gift Basket" is second only to receiving an actual cat!
Next time you're shopping for someone who is as wild about cats as you and I are, consider the following suggestions. You'll all be happy, including the feline of the group.
First of all, decide upon your "Basket". It can either be a medium-sized wicker basket (cats love to nestle inside of them) or it could be a fairly deep cat bed. Inside, on the bottom, lay out sheets of colorful tissue paper, or even a pretty baby blanket.
Following are some ideas for treats to fill the basket or bed. Customize the list appropiately for the lucky person who is receiving the present.
-A CD of light jazz that he/she and their feline friend will enjoy listening to together. Cats love jazz. They have such exquisite taste.
-A great looking set of water and food dishes.
-A coffee mug with a cat on it.
-A Garfield book of comic strips and/or a Garfield calendar.
-Cat Nip-filled toys or balls.
-A ball of yarn. Stereotypical, sure....but oh so much fun!
-The Video Version of the musical "Cats".
The possibilities are as endless as your imagination and your desire to bring a smile to this person's face.

iPod Movies - A Cinema In Your Hands
Did you ever see that movie with Sir Anthony Hopkins when he was a primatologist and he was doing work out in the jungle when he befriended a group of silverbacks? Well, what happens is that these bastard gorilla poachers come by and attack the group. What do you know but, the gorillas and Hopkins(!) fight back and kill a couple of the poachers. He goes to an insane asylum and the great silverback goes to the zoo. Mind you, this thing was fierce and desired freedom more than any star and stripe waving, apple pie eating red-stater could even fathom. But, once hes in the zoo for so long, when they finally open his cage, he's too broken to attempt to walk out. Well, that's like me. Blinking is sometimes too much effort.
But, just today I ran across something that has put the glimmer back in my eye. If you like movies and you ave an ipod photo, then let's talk. Ipod movies are now within the reach of us serfs and peasants, albeit with a little work. Because, the fact of the matter is, ipod movies are not in the realm of ipod photo, no, basically it's for photos. But some tenacity and a desire to watch oddly paced, effort draining clips and you've got yourself a movie night.
You'll need to get yourself set up with quicktime pro, itunes and your ipod, of course. Now you're going to take your movie, I would probably start with something short, like those clips you download from the internet. Get it in your computer and export the clip. Put the sound in your itunes, and then (here's the great part) put all the thousands of individual frames in your ipod photo. Now you get the volume rolling and use the click wheel to scroll through all the frames - and you are watching ipod movies my friend. Technology is beautiful, take advantage, man, take advantage.
Galadriel Anderson is mighty proud about her iPod. Check out more info on iPod movies and iPod Nano accessories.
Mountain Bikes – A Mainstream Riding Style
Mountain bike riders must have shock system type of bikes that include full suspension and hard tail and even no suspension. The shock system is important as because it helps to absorb the impact over rugged terrain that provide a smoother ride. Full suspension bikes got suspension in both the front and the rear of the bike. Hard tail bikes have solid rear fork and shock system in place of the front fork. Mountain bikes with lower end models do not have a shock system in the front or in the back of the bike.
Types of Mountain Bikes to Enjoy
Mountain bikes for cross-country riders are ideal for small to moderate train and they got both climbing and descending capabilities as well. The travel in the rear suspension system is less than four inches that does not hinder the ability to climb hills. The standard numbers of gears on cross-country bikes are 28 providing a wide range of gears suitable for the traveling over varied terrain.
In mountain bikes, trail bikes are more substantial than cross country bikes as they are intended for use for more technical mountain bike rides. The travel in suspension systems used on these bikes ranges is from 4-7 inches. This increased travel allows for a very smoother ride but makes pedaling uphill more difficult too. Mountain bikers have to weigh the decreased pedal efficiency versus a smoother ride.
The down hill mountain bikes detailed with the front and rear shock that have up to eight inches of travel. These bikes are specifically designed to do downhill racing. The amount of travel in the suspension systems makes it difficult to pedal uphill, for this reason these bikes are used almost exclusively for the downhill races where the shock systems allows smooth possible ride over harsh terrain at high speeds also.
Dirt jump bikes are one more verity in mountain bikes, which have only a front suspension system and used for flying over jumps. They have 16 gears in these bikes which allows the rider to build up the speed they need while making jumps.

Using the Sun to Power Your RV Jumping in your RV and leaving the rat race for the weekend is an American tradition. Did you know you can provide power to your RV with the sun while getting away from it all?
The Sun is Everywhere!
One of the biggest misconceptions regarding solar power is that it is limited to large panel systems on roofs. Au contraire! With new nanotechnology, solar power systems will soon be applied with the paint you use to improve your home. That’s still two or three years away, so what about now?
If you enjoy taking the RV out for an excursion, you can use solar power to provide your electrical needs. Whether you are going camping or to a NASCAR race, it is an exceedingly simple process.
Unlike homes, RVs run on direct current electricity. This makes them perfect for solar electricity since solar systems produce direct current electricity instead of alternating current. Put another way, there is no need for bulky converters to flip the electricity from direct to alternating. Instead, you can use the sun to power up your batteries directly.
Portable solar systems consist of pop-up solar modules with four or five panels. Essentially, they look like small ladders with solar panels instead of steps. You just pop them up on the roof of the RV or in an area where the sun hits them. The systems tie directly into your batteries and power them up during the day. Super easy and super clean.
The real advantage to solar RV systems has to do with noise. The traditional method for recharging your RV batteries is to turn on a generator and generators can be very loud. Even the quietest generator makes enough noise to make you feel like you live next to a construction site. Solar systems make no noise at all. There are no moving parts, just the sun beating down on the panels. You’ll never know they are even there.
If RVing is your thing, portable solar modules are worth taking a look at. With high fuel prices, you need to save a buck wherever you can.
