Holiday Decorating Tips: Christmas Candles
How to Light Up Your Home for Joy
Do you love the winter holiday season or does this time of year cause you stress? One way to lower your holiday stress, using fewer decorations, decreases your "just have to much to do" list.
However, you still want to display Christmas candles because these decorations bring smiles to you and your loved ones. As days grow shorter and cooler and the suns sets earlier, people naturally crave the warmth and comfort of light, especially natural sources such as a bonfire or the flame of a Christmas candle.
Christmas Candle Tips
Luminaries
Save your energy and your money. You don't need to line your entire sidewalk with luminaries. Get a similar effect with four large candles in clear glass containers near your front door. These glowing candles will welcome your guests without all the work of gathering bags, buying votive candles that just burn up fast, and shoveling all that sand.
Window Candles
Many cultural holiday traditions include placing a lighted candle in front windows to be seen from the outside. Pamper yourself. Place a candle in any dark window at night. Rather than peering into a dark void, you'll focus on the cheerful flame and feel comforted and uplifted.
Gift Yourself
Create a nightly quiet ritual for yourself in a quiet place away from distractions and the hustle of the holidays. Place candles around your bathtub and unwind, or by your favorite reading chair and instead of reading sit in the quiet and reflect upon the brightness of a single candlelight. Listen to quiet music or simply enjoy the peace and stillness. Ponder the joys in your life and express gratitude. This quiet time may be your most treasured gift to yourself.
Candlelight Carol-Sing
Recycle last year's greeting cards by cutting each into a disk or rounding the edges, punch a hole in the center, and slide a taper candle half-way through the hole. Gather your friends and family around the piano or hearth and sing familiar Christmas carols as each person holds their own candlelight. Pause to reflect upon the fact that each individual brings their own special light to the world and recognize the common spiritual light in each of us.
Candle Night-Night
When it's time to settle the children down to bed on Christmas Eve, calm them with a soothing candlelight ritual. My daughter’s children walk to bed, each carefully carrying a lighted candle through a dark hallway, singing "Silent Night."

Meet Brandon Routh: Superman Returns
When young Iowa-born actor Brandon Routh was cast by director Bryan Singer as Clark Kent and his alter-ego Superman in soon-to-be-released blockbuster Superman Returns, there was a fair degree of surprise in Hollywood. While Singer had suggested that he wanted an unknown actor to take Superman into the 21st century, few thought that he would opt for someone with no big screen experience, as Routh had previously only appeared in a number of TV shows such as Will & Grace.
However, Routh has taken up the mantle left by Christopher Reeve with gusto, suggesting that the role has a tremendous legacy that the young actor is proud to be a part of. And insiders feel that Routh has made the part his own with a performance of both strength and vulnerability.
Brandon Routh was born in Des Moines, Iowa on 9 October 1979. He grew up in Norwalk, Iowa and then attended the University of Iowa, starring in productions at the Norwalk Theater of Performing Arts as he began his acting career.
Brandon made the jump to professional acting in the series "Odd Man Out" (1999, ABC Television), before going on to guest star in the series "Gilmore Girls" (2000) and "Undressed" (1999).
Trivia
Aged 6, Brandon was so excited about watching “Superman”, dressed in his Superman pajamas, that he gave himself a migraine.
Brandon went to a Halloween party in 2003 as Clark Kent/Superman. He was awarded the film role one year later by Bryan Singer.
The 21st century Superman does not just care about America, even though he was raised in America, his love is American, and he works in an American newspaper. Brandon feels that Superman has to be universal.

Being A Responsible Fisherman Being a responsible fisherman today includes important responsibilities. It is more that obeying all fishing and boating laws and regulations. It must include be respectful to other people, landowners, and other fishermen. We all must respect the natural and safeguard it as a future resource. Symbolism and Presence The following article is my opinion about the nature of Reality. It is just my understanding and it is not definitive. This article is rather abstract though.
Our reality or environment seems 'solid', when we 'externalise' experiences as something separate from Mind. That is, when we have yet to realise/recognise the root/cause/source of any particular feeling and experience, we will continue to feel in a certain habitual manner. We will continue to do so subconsciously, as long as the experience is viewed 'externally'.
The moment the feeling/experience is recognised squarely as the 'thought it is', experience transforms and expand/stilled on its tracks. During these moments, Presence is strong, as if a motion has completed its cycle.
Symbolism appears to overlay on the Presence. Presence simply is, without the meaning-overlay of symbolism. All this happens in an astract manner.
We have numerous amount of this unconscious externalisation of experiences. So vast is this outward projection that our reality appears 'solid'. Each individual unrecognised externalisation weave with one another to form a very 'solid' and concrete reality.
Since the world is a projection, so... do we simply do nothing at all?
Perhaps, our doing of something is itself a symbol of the transformation... so perhaps the event of doing something is also a symbol itself, ... that is... a symbol of progression?
For your neccesary discernment. Thank you for reading. I must apologise for not being able to express the 'mystical' experience in a manner that can accurately capture the essence in its entirety.

Canine Arthritis Medicine
Before you decide to give your dog canine arthritis medicine you should understand what arthritis is and why medication will ease your dog’s symptoms.
Arthritis in dogs is just like in humans, it is when a joint becomes inflamed. It can be very painful, swell and become hard to move. Dogs can have different types of arthritis also. Before just giving your dog any type of medication you find at the store, you should have your veterinarian check your dog for signs of arthritis.
Canine arthritis medicine will not make the arthritis go away. There are no cures for arthritis. In severe cases, surgery can be an alternative. But, many medications will relive the pain and swelling associated with arthritis. After your veterinarian has diagnosed your dog with canine arthritis it would be best to find out what medicines he thinks would be best for the type of arthritis you dog is suffering with.
There are many different types of pain killers and anti inflammatory medications that are great in helping your dog. With these medicines your dog will be able to play again and even enjoy life more.
The main thing to remember is that you do not want your best friend suffering with pain if he doesn’t have to. He will not be happy and can become worse without the medication. The pain from arthritis will have him lying around and then his joints can become stiffer. He needs to exercise and that is very hard to do, if he is in severe pain.
Luckily, its an ailment that can be treated with treatments such as Arthramine which helps repair the damaged tissue.
